Week 22

Now I don't want you all to think that I'm slacking, as it is Saturday....and I did turn 22 weeks on Tuesday... But all is well. Here is your weekly picture:

Our little girl is quite the mover. Well, mostly when Megan isn't trying to feel her (hee hee hee). She likes to move when I'm laying down the most. Or when I think, "You know, I haven't felt the baby move in a while." That usually makes her move too. : ) My grandma sent me another cute little outfit in the mail along with some socks (I'll include pictures later...I haven't taken any yet...). I think she likes this baby. I don't know if I'm the favorite granddaughter anymore. I'm just the vessel for the 1st great granddaughter! : ) But I DO love packages. They make me happy. And although they aren't really for me, I am just as excited as if they were! Baby clothes are fun. They are SOOO tiny! In fact, I bought some laundry soap the other day and have washed almost all the clothes that I have right now. I'm just trying to be extra proactive and ready!

I did stop at a garage sale the other day though...I can't help it! : ( I don't think I need anything else right now, so I'm not going to buy anything for a while...but I did buy this:

It was only $5! It is pretty cute. It has some flaps on it, like the elephant ear and the giraffe tail. The flowers also light up and it plays music. The lady who was having the garage sale had twin girls and was selling a LOT of clothes. I bought a couple things, but man! There were a lot of outfits there that had never been worn! I feel if I get too many clothes, I'll just have to change her outfit a couple times a day so that I get full use out of every outfit. : )
Man, I love garage sales! Well that's all for now! See ya next week.

Week 21

Exciting news of the day???? I got my.....

and from my Grandpa.....

HOW CUTE!!!!!!! Thank you Sears and THANK YOU Grandpa!

And here is a little number from Megan. It comes complete with a cute little headband!

And here is the picture of the week. That was definitely a VERY pregnant looking day!

I think I'm beginning to reach the point where I am getting a little uncomfortable. I have been very blessed to have a fairly easy pregnancy so far, but there are some times that I just feel weird. Sometimes I feel like my stomach wishes it could expand more and faster. And other times baby Salt really enjoys kicking at my bladder... But I do love feeling her kick around! Our baby is a whole pound this week! How exciting!

The Crib!

Remember back to the day that I got a crib at a garage sale?? Well, I've done some research on it. There was a sticky note on it the day that we bought it saying that it had been recalled but the all the pieces were in working order. I found out what company the crib was from and emailed them a couple of time. I couldn't find the specific crib number on any recall list and the company themselves said that they never had a recall. SOOOOO. We put it together and it seems really sturdy and safe! Hooray! It is also HUGE! I don't know if all cribs are that big, but it's pretty big!

Next fun story. So we Nathan and I got married Nathan got tool gifts from the menfolk of the family. I think he got some duplicates so he took them back and got gift cards instead. Well we've had these cards for almost two years when I thought of the perfect way to use them!

It has a nice little drawer and a changing pad with a strap. And my grand total? $3.63. HOORAY!!!! So far we've spent $28.63 on a crib, a glider/footrest, and a changing table. Aren't we so thrifty?

20 Weeks!

HALFWAY THERE!!!!!!!

It's hard to believe that I'm this far along already. Well actually...each day is really slow, but somehow I made it to week 20! Baby has been kicking a bunch. Someday it seems that she does it a lot more than others. Nathan felt her kick yesterday. I've been waiting and waiting for him to feel it. He, on the other hand, is very patient and kept telling me that there will be plenty of time for him to feel it. But of course he thought it was cool. : ) My grandma sent baby Salt some ADORABLE little clothes!
Thanks Grandma!!!

Here is my picture from this week:
My favorite thing about this picture is that I'm wearing regular pre maternity pants. : ) wahahahaha!

I also may or may not have bought some clothes off of craigslist....
(some of my favorites:)

HOORAY!!!
