We're having.....

A GIRL!!!!

I had my ultrasound appointment on Wednesday. It was originally scheduled for the 2nd of November, but Nathan had work so we rescheduled. Darn. : ) Everything looked good. The baby was measuring on schedule and was estimated at about 11 ounces. Our ultrasound tech was able to measure everything, but she had a hard time getting the head measurements because our little baby had her head faced down into my pelvis. So that means that I have another ultrasound in 5 weeks. Oh darn! After we went to our appointment we went... SHOPPING!!! And here are some of our treasures:

I bought these two from a second hand store. The onesie was only a dollar and the shoes were $2.50, but they are BRAND NEW!!! At Babies R Us they sell for $10!

If we were having a boy I would have bought this for him because I think it is SOOOO cute! But we're not. So I bought it for a friend who's having a boy.

Sure, right now they look a little bit bland... Maybe that will change. Who knows! The crib is also a drop side one that has technically been recalled...but I know that we can change it so that it isn't a drop side anymore. And if we decide we hate it, IT WAS ONLY $15! Ah, I love you garage sales!

Week 18

WOW!!!! I'm getting close to halfway! I know, you are all amazed. : ) Updates on baby. Well, I felt him/her several times. Always same general spot. Recently I've been able to feel it on the outside as well! HOORAY!

17 Weeks

I had my 17 week appointment on Tuesday. It was lame. Mostly because it was approximately 5 minutes. I had to wait 5 WEEKS! Can't the appointment be at least 20 minutes??? The nurse practitioner is someone I've seen one other time and I am now going to make it a point NOT to have her. Boo her. I felt tricky because she said to schedule an appointment for 4 weeks, but I already scheduled one a month or so ago for 3 weeks. : ) wahahaha! You better believe I am ONLY waiting until 20 weeks for my ultrasound. None of this 21 weeks business! Not much is going on in the baby growing world. The baby is going to be a sweet potato this week. Sniff Sniff, our little baby is growing up!


Don't I look smaller than last week? It comes an goes. I mostly look pregnant at night after I've eaten... :)

Week 16

Well, not a lot has happened this week. I've been a little lazy...but I'm trying to fix that!!! My picture for this week is a little lame...but I was wearing a sweater and didn't want to take it off. SOOOOOOO, bear with!

I get to go to the doctors next Tuesday. I'm REALLY hoping that they will just do my gender ultrasound, but they probably won't. Oh well, if not I have an appointment scheduled for the 2nd of November. I can wait the long, right?

In other news, I hosted a baby shower last weekend and I get to go to one next weekend! Hooray babies!
