Week 26

Here's to another week. Once again, not a lot has happened this past week. I have realized how extremely blessed I am to have the friends and family I have. We have already received so much for our baby and she still has several months to cook. I think it's funny that some people hate it when others will touch their stomachs. I, however, LOVE to have people touch mine, especially when baby Salt is kicking. It's so fun for me to see how excited other people are that I'm growing a baby inside of me and my way to give back is to a allow a nice big belly rub. And that is certainly true, the big belly part. Everyday I notice my bellybutton getting shallower and shallower. : )

The fun presents that I received this week:
Some ADORABLE overalls from my very spoilingish Grandmother:
I am in LOVE with the little doily's : )

Some really really cute pajama's from my friend Tracy:
I can not get over how cute the little bunny slipper feet are!

And also a really neat sling, from Tracy again, that you can carry the baby in. The woman who makes them is in her ward and you should see all the fun fabrics! There are several ways that you can carry the baby in and I can't wait to use it! It turned out really cute and the inside is soooooooo soft! Thanks Tracy!

We also received a blanket from Nathan's Grandpa Joe and Annette:
Yep, those are pink Dumbo's! : ) It's pretty much Nathan's most favorite thing ever! It's so soft! Thanks!

As you can see, people love babies! : ) Thank you all!

Week 25

Not much is new with us. I am beginning to feel more uncomfortable, mostly because my stomach is getting larger and a little bit in the way. I am also starting to get some little stretch marks. : ( boo. But it seems like everything is going well. She still kicks a lot, mostly after dinner. It's hard to believe, but she is over 2 pounds now! How crazy!!! Time seems to be flying these days!
My sad news of yesterday... I told Nathan that I wouldn't buy any more baby clothes... : (
This was my last baby clothe:
Isn't it darling????

I also found a button for my one buttonless hair bow:

And I found some ribbon that matches the shoes that I bought a while ago:

YAY!!!!

My great story from last week is this:
Nathan's parents bought it for us. And it's EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!!!! I have been searching and searching for a purple car seat with a triangle handle! I actually found it at a Babies R Us that was in Denver. You see they don't have it at the store in Orem, because for some reason or another the Orem store is one of the smallest Babies R Us's. Which is weird in a place where so many babies are born... Anyways, It's perfect and I absolutely love it! Here are some more pictures for your viewing pleasure:

Thanks so much Salt Parents!!!!!!

I am also getting closer to getting my puppets done. Some of them are a work in progress still...:

Cow
Penguin (my favorite!)
Lion
Bunny Tail
Bunny
Tiger
Cat
I'm so excited for them! I'm pretty much in love with every one of them. : )

Week 24

Sorry that there was no post last week. I had every intention of getting a picture taken before we left for Colorado, but.... It just didn't happen. : ( Oh well. Things are going well with baby. I had an ultrasound on Monday because the ultrasound tech wasn't able to measure the face last time. Darn. : ) WAHAHAHA!!!! I love getting ultrasounds. I wish I had a machine so I could do it at home! Anyways... She is still a she. Things looked really good. The doctor said I was measuring right on schedule. Yay! Baby Salt has been kicking up a storm lately. Often when there is Christmas music on. hee hee hee. I have also been able to watch my stomach move as she moves inside. Kindof weird, but I love it! Here's the 24 week picture:
My nose looks really pink in this picture for some reason...

Remember last time when I said that my grandma had bought baby Salt some more clothes? Here are some pictures:

And then Megan and Logan went down to California for Thanksgiving and I got even MORE clothes from my Grandma and from my Aunt Deanne:

From Grandma:

Now for a closeup on their absolute adoreableness! Thanks Grandma!!!

And from my Aunt:
The hat is probably the fuzziest I have ever felt! Soooo cute! Thanks Aunt Deanne!

Here are some pictures of the clothes that I bought at the garage sale 2 weeks ago:
and my favorite:
They were all just a dollar each!!!

When we were in Denver last week my sister in law Debbie showed me how to make these:
The headband are interchangeable! Thanks Mama Salt for making baby Salts first purple bow and thanks Debbie for teaching me how to make them. Now off to buy some more flowers.... : ) (oh, and the light pink bow at the bottom isn't quite done. It still needs a button for the middle, but we didn't have quite the right color.)

And last but not least... I have had a pattern for making puppets for a month or two, and guess what happens to be on my nieces wish list for Christmas??? : )
Here's a sneak peak:
